The Passive Fire Protection Alliance (PFPA) was initially established as in 2002 as the Alliance for Fire and Smoke Containment.  In 2009 the Alliance it was “re-badged” as the Passive Fire Protection Alliance to correlate with the PFPA website address and at the same the tag line Fire and Smoke, Containment & Control was introduced to reinforce what Passive Fire Protection is all about.  This website is the core to PFPA’s activities and providing information about Passive Fire Protection.
