The Alliance for Fire and Smoke Containment (known to many as just “The Alliance” or “pfpa” for short due to the web address) was formed in early 2002 with the support of the original founding companies Hilti, Lorient, Promat, Pyropanel, SmokeGuard and Trafalgar (formerly Tyco) in response to the need for a well-coordinated, educational effort to promote the value of a balanced fire protection design in the built environment. |
