New Technical Guidance Notes – Fire Doors |

There are several new technical guidance notes (TGN) in regards to fire doors that have been recently added to www.pfpa.com.au in the technical notes section. TGN 009a, TGN 009b and TGN 009c address specifying, tagging and maintenance of fire doors respectively and have been written with the designer and end user in mind, i.e. the property owner or agent or a body corporate (find the TGN’s at http://www.pfpa.com.au/publications/tgn_published.htm ). The Queensland Department of Infrastructure & Planning is using some of the content of the maintenance TGN in an explanatory guideline being developed for the MP 6.1 Maintenance of Fire Safety Installations. |
