Steel fireproofing

PFPA is proud to announce its formal collaboration with the Australian Steel Institute (ASI) to produce some publications relating to fireproofing of steel framed buildings.

The first publication is a short form guide dealing with prescriptive means of fire protection of steel and providing builders and other interested parties with a list of PFPA member companies operating in this field encompassing both manufacturers and suppliers of the fireproofing materials, as well as the applicators or installers of the materials.

The second proposed publication is an equivalent to the UK’s ASFP Yellow Book and the now almost defunct ASIC Green book.
